At Spirafix, we believe accountability is important, and that’s why we’re preparing to publish information on our environmental impact as an organisation, and the environmental impact of our product range. This will give our customers and potential partners information and data they need to make informed decisions about their ground anchoring solutions.
Within the coming weeks, our website will feature carbon footprint data for every Spirafix anchor in our lineup. From the compact SF30 series through to our heavy dutySF75 anchors, you’ll have access to kgCO2e values for each product.
These are real numbers, calculated across our production cycles, from raw material extraction through manufacturing.
Why This Matters
Ground anchoring decisions often come down to performance and cost, so we think environmental impact should be part of that equation too. When you’re choosing between temporary concrete solutions and reusable Spirafix anchors, the carbon numbers tell a clear story.
Our data shows significant environmental advantages when Spirafix anchors replace traditional methods. Less concrete means fewer heavy goods movements. Reusable products mean less waste, and the numbers back up what we’ve always known –there’s a better way to anchor.
The Full Picture
The data we will be publishing covers our complete manufacturing process. We track carbon emissions from steel production through to final product assembly. We’re not able to include various surface treatments such as galvanising just yet, but we’re working on that too.
You’ll find this information integrated throughout our product pages, making it easy tofactor environmental impact into your project planning. We want to be as upfront as possible about what’s included and what isn’t, so our customers can make informed decisions.
Looking Ahead
We’re considering environmental impact into every business decision we make, from product design through to how we work with suppliers. We’re not perfect, but we’re committed to improving every day.
Stay tuned for the detailed environmental impact data being available across the website within the coming weeks.
