Installation of our ground anchors can be carried out manually or mechanically with a lump hammer, sledgehammer, slide hammer, petrol post driver, hydraulic post driver or heavy machinery. The tool you need to use depends very much on the ground conditions and anchor size.

When it comes to removing our ground anchors, all you have to do is first match the anchor size to the removal tool (you can use our handy guide on this page for this). Then simply counter-rotate the anchor until it is entirely removed, then pack it away ready for the next installation. It couldn't be simpler!

Spirafix Ground Anchors are even easier to remove with the use of our extendable ¾ inch drive ratchet. The ratchet is well suited to remove multiple anchors quickly and easily. Using the 400mm ¾ inch drive extension piece brings the user to working height, making it easier to remove anchors.
