Install 28 permanent ground anchors sockets for securing columns to hold stainless steel 'fish' that will swivel in the wind - similar to a weather vane.
Challenges
The installation, for a school, had to be secure, permanent, and take into account wind ratings up to 100mph. Standard Spirafix Ground Anchors were not going to be a viable solution so the ground socket was designed to ensure safety factors could be met. The work required was very precise as placement of poles key to the overall impact of the piece. Working closely with on-site contractors ensured each pole was perfectly placed and spaced
Solution
Spirafix Ground Socket was designed, tested and specified. Easy to install using a hydraulic post driver with suitable fixing for the pole, the solution was neat, simple and highly effective
