Client - Attridge
Attridge engaged with Spirafix to understand more about an appropriate anchor size for their needs and to help with coming up with a solution to use in conjunction with there installing of scaffolding. A test date was booked to undergo anchor testing and teach Attridge staff how to both install and test Spirafix anchors.
At the same time a need was discussed to design a base which would allow Attridge to plant a base on a banking which would accept a scaffold foot plate.
Design and development Implementation
Following the site visit and a clear understanding of the need to design a solution for a compressively loaded foot plate, Spirafix began developing a tailored approach in collaboration with Attridge.
Initial concept designs were shared, including options for both three- and four-anchor base plates. These concepts led to the production and delivery of sample base plates to Attridge for evaluation and approval.
With agreement on the design principles, Attridge proceeded to place an order for the supply of base plates, a test rig, and a selection of 50mm anchors in various lengths to accommodate differing ground conditions.
Ongoing use
As shown in the accompanying images, Attridge Scaffolding remains a strong advocate of Spirafix, consistently incorporating our anchors and base plates into their structures wherever required.
