Challenges
To work with bespoke base plates for large temporary event structures and provide a neat and simple anchoring solution which would provide better load ratings than standard marquee stakes.
Solution
Pull tests were carried out to support published load chart statements. The SF75-12-1320 threaded head anchor was advised based on the size of structure being used together with a hydraulic post driver for installation. Spirafix Ground Anchors are easy to install, easy to remove and fully reusable. The client also purchased a test rig enabling them to carry out their own checks and ensure compliance with on-site requirements. Threaded head anchors can be used for a wide variety of installations.
