Client: Blackpool Illuminations
- To suggest, design and test a safe and secure way of fixing projector mount poles into position.
- Needed to replace the digging of holes and laying of concrete.
- Needed to be easily movable.
Solution
We designed a bespoke base plate for use with Blackpool Illuminations own projector poles. The SF50-10-1260AC threaded head anchors were specified in line with load ratings required and on site soil conditions. The anchors were installed using a hand held petrol post driver. A template was created for improved accuracy of anchor installation. Once the anchors were in position the base plates were secured using set screws and washers.
