The Spirafix team travelled to Glastonbury to secure one of the stages for our customer by installing our 75mm anchor range in June 2023. We also collaborate directly with Glastonbury Festival and supply our ground anchors to other customers who site their tents and marquees at the festival.
Challenges
It is imperative that the ground anchors are installed by the right individuals, utilising all necessary equipment, and following their phases of construction of their stage. Our team is working alongside a supportive company who assists us with their expertise in their telehandler equipment.
Installation:
Over the years, Spirafix have supplied all the ground anchors required for the site, with the task of completing the job within the agreed timescale of a one day. We installed our SF75-12-1100AC anchors with the Atlas Copco-T driver and successfully met the minimum factored loading requirements, following the information provided by Team Love. Furthermore, the entire project was finished within the designated timeline.
