To secure a temporary scaffolding structure around the main stage which would support a number of high res screens.
Full installation and removal of Spirafix Ground Anchors working with onsite crews
Challenges
- Meet wind load ratings required.
- Provide a temporary solution that was as easy to install as remove.
- Work with scaffold solution already designed and specified.
- Remove the need for kentledge or IBC's.
Solution
Using the SF50-10-0630AC threaded head Spirafix Ground Anchor together with scaffold ring bolts the wind loads were met and exceeded. The spiral anchors were installed and, once in position, the scaffold ring bolts were screwed into the top of the anchor. Scaffold tube was then threaded through the scaffold ring bolts to be used as the secure base for the structure.
