Ground Anchors for Hay and Straw Stacks
Our solid head anchor and through slot tethering bracket are a safe, secure, simple and reusable way on ensuring that tarpaulin stays in position during the winter months.
How to install
Using the SA453 through slot bracket with a solid head Spirafix anchor, this solution could not be easier to use and install. Place the bracket on the ground in the line of the ratchet strap and simply driver the anchor down through the slot in the bracket. Once the collar of the anchor hits the bracket the anchor is installed. Attach and tension your strap. Using one anchor per corner of your hay or straw stack, always remember to protect the head of the anchor with a manual hammer cup. Once you are ready to remove your tarp, simply unscrew the anchor using an adjustable ratchet, store and reuse when ready. This is a cost effective and simple solution to an annual problem.
Always protect the anchor head using a hammer cap.
