Spirafix ground anchors have been used for a variety of applications, however one of the more recent and pioneering methods our clients have started using Spirafix products for is load bearing piles, which are encapsulated in concrete to stabilise concrete raft foundations for various projects. General methods of work constitutes the client specifying the loads the anchors require to achieve to sustain, load testing is complete and anchors sizing specified. Anchors are then installed as per specification prior to the retaining plate and rebar put in situ. Concrete pour then completes job binding the whole foundation as one.
